- The Jade absinthes are distilled in copper bain marie stills that were acquired directly from the Pernod Fils distillery. They have a capacity of 1150 liters, were built entirely by hand around 1870 and feature full hydro-rectification.
- First being established at Couvet, Switzerland, then later Pontarlier, France, the distillery of Edouard Pernod boasted eight alambics and produced almost 300,000 liters of absinthe annually.
- Each Jade absinthe bottle is encapsulated by hand in the traditional wax, and each receives the Jade Liqueurs seal of authenticity.
Jade Liqueurs was founded by T.A. Breaux, a professional scientist who has dedicated over a decade of research toward resolving the mysteries and myths associated with absinthe. His quest for the unadulterated truth has taken him across the globe in search of obscure, overlooked, and forgotten information that documents this often maligned subject. Jade Liqueurs was established in 2000 for the sole purpose of offering the connoisseur the opportunity to experience unequivocal recreations of the classic absinthes that fueled the creative fires of the Belle Époque. The absinthes crafted by Jade Liqueurs are historically accurate and authentic down to unimaginably minute details.
The absinthes recreated by Jade Liqueurs are made possible only because T. A. Breaux and his associates possess immaculately preserved bottles of the most famous original absinthes of the 19th century. Armed with an education and experience in applied analytical sciences, Mr. Breaux has worked in conjunction with other accomplished scientific minds in perfecting the sophisticated techniques needed to unlock the many secrets of the original liquor. His research has been recognized in books, magazines, newspapers, television, and filmed documentaries, and his educated insight is frequently sought by writers, researchers, and historians.
Through the continuing efforts of T. A. Breaux and his associates, Jade Liqueurs will remain established as a marque of uncompromised artisanship and the unmatched leader in authenticity and quality.
- At first, savour your Jade Esprit Edouard with half a piece of sugar. Then, add more or less according to your taste.
- For one measure of absinthe (3cl), add 2 to 5 measures of fresh water.

Added on the : 01/04/2018 EnglishIt is not my first time with this absinthe. In fact is my 3rd time (in a while...) and, being just an amateur and beginner, i believe it has a perfect balance, taste, colour and flexibility to enjoy both straitgh, à la française, or with water. My only caveat would be to use a cold high qualty mineral water to enjoy the most. Be happy!
