The Cami Songe Vert is 100% natural and contains almost no anise.

Produced in limited quantities, this unsweetened absinthe is issued from a small Czech distillery.
Another version is almost identical to this one, the "Cami L'Extrait de Fée". According to the producer, the only difference is the anise content: Cami Songe Vert hardly contains any.

We also carry the other Cami absinthes, 6 different ones in total: Cami 66, Cami l'Extrait de Fee, Cami Gold, Cami Gottesauge, Cami Songe Vert, and Cami Tempel.

There's no easy way to say his so ill just say it, it tastes god awful! Now don't get me wrong i do like having this style absinthe from time to time but yeah it DOES taste like pool water as noted by another reviewer (i had to satisfy my curiosity) a bit bitter and no combination of interesting flavors, but isn't harsh to drink. It gives a good little buzz but that's about all i could find i liked about it but...everyone has different tastes though. There is a bohemian style absinthe available here in Australia off the shelf called Koruna which is pretty much the same very little or no anise and all natural. I did actually enjoy it with a bit of sugar to help, this though just tasted wrong to me. Also yes there is no louche going on what so ever. I think i will use it for cocktails.

This is a great absinthe as I don't like aniseed that much but having a great European background and palate no louche effect unfortunately can drink this all the time great to have in my absinthe collection, I personally put a quarter sugar cube and light on fire before adding water like with most of my absinthes, as Australia doesn't have many absinthe's of quality ordering overseas is the best option-the taste is very easy and smooth with a high thujone content its an absolute buy for an intermediate to higher absinthter

Only a slight, suttle difference from Cami L'extrait de Fee', it is a very good alternative to traditional absinthe. No anise, but a very potent - almost euphoric - effect, that I find very enjoyable. Many of my friends prefer this style of absinthe, and I like to have a bottle or two, in my liquor cabinet. Try it, you will enjoy the experience.
