Added on the : 17/11/2019 EnglishHallo, hier möchte ich meine Meinung zum Absinthe Pierrot niederschreiben. Optisch auf jeden Fall ein Hingucker aus dem französischen Hause Devoille. Bisher sind meine Erfahrungen hier durchwachsen, daher bin ich sehr gespannt. Die 0,5l kommen in einem zarten, schlanken Fläschchen daher. Ein helles unaufdringliches Grün wird umrahmt von einem wirklich außerordentlich hübschen, eleganten Etikett. Der Verschluss ist aus Echtkork mit Holzumrahmung zum rausziehen.
Pur riecht er nicht sehr schön für meinen Geschmack, fast schon nach vergälltem Alkohol – also Richtung Desinfektionsmittel. Hat auch immerhin 65% Prozent.
Pur verkostet bleibt der Eindruck eines sehr starken Absinthes. Er ist sehr bitter und brennig, hinterlässt nach dem Abschlucken wie angegeben einen dominanten Fenchelgeschmack.
Den Louche habe ich mir gleich 2x angesehen, beim ersten Mal hab ich mir das Wasser auf die Tastatur geschüttet. Hat mich aber 2x nicht überzeugt. Er ist bestenfalls mittelmäßig, sehr zügig. Es bleibt ein weich grünes Getränk zurück, sehr blickdicht. Einzig gegen eine Glühlampe gehalten scheint Licht durch.
Er riecht ca. 1:2 nach nicht mehr viel. Allenfalls leicht leicht rosig, blumig. Nicht fruchtig, aber auch nicht so recht nach Kräutern.
Bisher habe ich nicht mehr viel erwartet, Geschmacklich zeigt er sich hier aber wirklich sehr komplex. Die erste Berührung mit der Zunge ist sehr süß. Fenchel, dicht gefolgt von Anis. Etwas Melisse oder Minze schmeckt man noch gut heraus. Laut Beschreibung Melisse. Behält man ihn im vorderen Teil des Mundes /der Zunge merkt man kaum bittere Noten, klar, der Sinn dafür liegt im hinteren Bereich. Also wird er erst mit dem Abschlucken leicht bitter um dann wieder zügig ins frische zurück zu kehren.
Ein super Erlebnis mit einigen Twists des Geschmackes.
Aus Interesse verdünne ich etwas mehr, ich hoffe das für mich weniger Angenehme bitter zu eliminieren.
Jetzt, etwa 1:4 (maximal) wird er freilich etwas dünner, fader, langweiliger. Das Bittere bleibt, es verschwindet mehr oder weniger der vordere Teil – damit wird er ehr langweilig. Im hinteren Teil bleibt es frisch und fenchelig.
Also, viel erwartet habe ich hier nach den Anfängern nicht mehr. Da hat er mich doch glatt überrascht. Das wesentliche, der Geschmack verdünnt mit Wasser war Gut (8 Punkte), gepaart mit subjektiv zu starken bitteren Noten (5 Punkte). Subjektiv! Überrascht und überzeugt hat mich der Pierrot durch seine Vielfältigkeit und seine Komplexität – Zumindest was das Wechselspiel anbelangt. (9Punkte). Macht in Summe etwas mehr als 7 Punkte. Ich runde auf. 8 Punkte in Summe.
Was könnte man besser machen? Komplex ist nur das Zusammenspiel der Dreifaltigkeit. Es fehlen Geschmacklich noch ein paar Ausreißmomente. Das bisschen Melisse zum Start ist da nicht präsent genug.
Aber auf jeden Fall sehr solide. Ich empfehle ihn für alle Genießer.

Another tasty absinthe from Devoille. In terms of flavour it could be considered a more restrained sibling of Devoilles 'Abel Bresson'. A good choise if you'd like to try an absinthe with a slightly bolder medicinal character without the risk of being overpowered by it. Will buy again.
