1 absinthe Libertine 72

Libertine 72 is fine and powerful. Its balance and its various plants make it a ideal companion to discover absinthe.

Libertine 72 Intense was awarded the gold medal at the international competition in Lyon in 2019.

It is the sister of Libertine 55, with a higher alcohol content, but also, due to its complexity, very different to the first version.
Produced according to a recipe from last century (1894), Libertine 72 is an authentic absinthe.
It is entirely made with plants and seeds. Its colour is 100% natural.
In its composition are included mainly grand wormwood, green anise, star anise, liquorice, fennel, coriander, Melissa, hyssop and veronica.
Libertine 72 has the particularity of having been produced from a distilled blend (each plant macerates and is then distilled individually before blending)

1 Absinthe Glass Artois

The absinthe glass Artois is a reproduction of an antique glass from 1895.

It has a faceted pattern around the lower half of the glass and a pleasing weight in the hand. The Artois glass is equally suited to use as an absinthe glass, water glass or beer glass.

The Artois glass is made from sturdy pressed glass in France. It is durable and dishwasher-safe.

1 Absinthe Spoon Boheme

The Bohème absinthe spoon fits snugly onto every average sized absinthe glass, and will be an eye catcher during the classic French ritual, but also the fire ritual.

This spoon fits perfectly in one of our hardcover spoon boxes, available in black and green.

1 Book der Kuss der Grünen Fee

10 authors have contributed 10 short stories to the book The kiss of the green fairy (in german: Der Kuss der Grünen Fee). In some of the stories, absinthe plays a major role, whereas in others it is only mentioned in passing.

Among the authors are Marie Reiners, Kathin Lange and Peter Hoeft. They are all presented in more detail at the end of the book. The publisher Ulrike Biefert is a film and television actor, as well as a screenwriter. Since 2006, she has turned her hand to prose.

The book combines historical facts with fictional experiencess. At the end of each story, the reader learns if the story is based on historical facts or if it is purely fictional.

Most of the stories take place in the time of the Belle Epoque, when absinthe was one of the most popular drinks. One of the short stories is entitled "The Ear" (German: Das Ohr) and refers to the situation when Vincent Van Gogh lost his ear. Another story mentions the development of the absinthe recipe and its primary use.

This book is only available in German.
