These Old Time Aromatic Bitters are bitter from the beginning to the end, as well as spicy and complex.
The complexity within this bitter is a result of the interplay between cinnamon, cardamom, licorice, clove and ginger taking place in the background, and complimented by a typical gingerbread aroma.
This bitter is best suited to compliment cask-aged spirits like whiskey, rum, brandy, and tequila.

50 ml Rye or Bourbon Whiskey
10 ml Sugar Syrup (or 1 Sugar Cube)
2 dashes The Bitter Truth – Old Time Aromatic Bitters

Method: Pour all ingredients in a tumbler & stir until it has the right dilution.

The Old Time Aromatic Bitters is produced by 100% natural ingredients, according to the producer.
The 200ml portion of Aromatic Bitters has an alcohol content of 39% and comes in an elegant bottle that visually reminds one of the medicinal history of bitters.

The Bitter Truth, often TBT for short, was more significant in leading the rediscovery of cocktails bitter than almost any other company. It was in the summer of 2006 when Stephen Berg and Alexander Hauck decided to do something against the misery of the cocktail industry, which for them meant a lack of good bitters in the first instance.
